With expected turn-around times for bidding reducing, there is a great need to ensure that minimum time is spent on searching for information and entering data. Xpedeon provides powerful features that are designed to do just that.
Centralized Resource Database
Xpedeon's centralized resource database of Labour, Plant, Materials, Trades and Indirect Costs ensures that all estimators work with the same standard resource nomenclature created by estimating managers. Xpedeon allows two levels of classification so that information can be summarized at either level.
Composite Resources (Crews and Gangs)
Xpedeon facilitates the creation of composite resources such as crews and gangs comprising of materials, labour and plant. These can be selected in the build-up. Xpedeon automatically updates the underlying compositions for the BoQ item.
Regional Resource Rates Database
With Xpedeon, you can specify default rates for material, labour and plant resources, for each geographical region in which you operate.
Once you have selected the region in which a bid is situated, Xpedeon will automatically pick up the appropriate regional rate for the resource in the Buildup. This eliminates user errors caused by applying the wrong rates.
