Support for Rogue and Clone Resources
For specialized resources that do not form part of your central database, you can define a rouge resource for a particular bid, by directly specifying the description.
You can also clone an existing library resource and modify it.
These rogue or cloned resources are bid specific and do not enter the central libraries. They are ideal for factoring in the cost of one-time resources.
Standard Templates and Libraries for BoQ Items and Buildups
Organizations can create their own standard libraries of items and their build-ups (recipes) in terms of productivities and constants.
While pricing a bid, you can copy build-ups from the standard libraries with Xpedeon applying the appropriate regional resource rates. This results in extremely quick item pricing with great accuracy and minimal error.
Easy Import Facility
Xpedeon supports the import of Bills of Quantities (BoQ) from CSV or normal text files. This speeds up the process of entering the BoQ into the system, thus allowing estimators to focus on pricing and completing the bid.
Quick and Traditional Dim Sheets
Xpedeon provides two types of Dim Sheet editors which can be used to enter the take-off of individual items. The traditional dim sheet editor behaves like a standard manual dimension sheet. The Quick Dim editor is used to enter dimensions as rows to perform quick calculations when speed is of essence.
